Intro

Youth unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges in Uganda, especially in urban communities. Many young people leave school without practical skills, confidence, or opportunities to support themselves. Through its Entrepreneurship and Skills Development program, YOTTCO is helping change this story by equipping youth with relevant skills for income generation, employment, and sustainable livelihoods.

For many young people in Kampala and surrounding urban communities, the journey to adulthood is often filled with uncertainty. Without clear employment pathways, many face economic hardship, frustration, and vulnerability. YOTTCO’s Entrepreneurship and Skills Development program was created to address this challenge by providing practical, market relevant skills that empower young people to become self reliant and productive.

Through skills training, mentorship, enterprise support, and hands on learning, YOTTCO supports youth to develop income generating abilities and entrepreneurial mindsets. Our training focuses on real life, practical skills that can be turned into employment or business opportunities, helping youth improve their livelihoods and support their families.

Beyond skills, we help young people build confidence, develop discipline, and gain hope for the future. Mentorship and business guidance enable youth to understand how to start and sustain enterprises, access opportunities, and connect with markets.
