Who We Are

Promoting Youth Empowerment Since 2012

Youth of the Twenty First Century Organisation (YOTTCO) is a community-based, youth-led organisation established in 2012 in Kampala, Uganda. The organisation was founded by a group of young people who sought practical solutions to youth unemployment and social challenges through entrepreneurship and skills development.

YOTTCO empowers adolescents and youth aged 10–30 years, including unemployed youth, in- and out-of-school youth, refugees, youth with disabilities, and university graduates, to actively participate in community development.

Our History

YOTTCO was conceived by three unemployed youth who were determined to address the growing challenge of youth unemployment and limited access to practical skills. What started as a small community initiative has grown into an organisation supporting thousands of young people across Kampala.

Since its registration as a Community Based Organisation in 2012 and later as a Company Limited by Guarantee, YOTTCO has continued to strengthen its institutional capacity, partnerships, and impact.
